Why "Flippin 4 This"?

The most important aspect of our lives is our faith in God.  And aside from God's gift of salvation, the best gift that God has given us is our family.  With the last name Flippin and with our fun-loving family of 4, we are Flippin 4 This

The most important aspect of this website is sharing with you the Gospel of Jesus.  I want each and every person who reads these pages to have a clear understanding of God is and how you can have a relationship with Him.  I praise God that He revealed Himself to me and has forgiven me of my sins.  To have a clearer understanding of what I believe, I have included this link to the Baptist Faith and Message.  To learn how you can begin a relationship with God, please visit this page.

I am Monica, the wife to Monroe, and a stay-at-home, work from home, homeschooling mom to my favorite people Grace and Clark.  I am a Christian, forgiven and loved by the Creator of the universe, saved by the grace of God.  I love reading, writing, photography, traveling, and sharing fun and adventures with my family.

Great is God's faithfulness!  My cup runneth over!

Monroe and I were married in 2000.  A wonderful husband, provider, and protector, he encourages and loves our family with his tender heart.  He makes us laugh, comforts us through our troubles, and spends quality time with our family making lasting memories.  He loves history and reading, cooking barbeque and working on his tractors, and he likes to go fishing, shooting, and metal-detecting.  He is a man of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, and he possesses a great amount of common sense.  Such a man is a gift from God.

My 13 year old daughter Grace is my best friend.  She loves God and her family and her friends.  Grace is in her ninth year of homeschooling and has been swimming competitively for 6 years.  She is an avid reader and has an interest in music and can play the piano by ear.  She loves art and drawing, photography, and making things.  She cooks and sews and is interested in all things related to the home.  Since she was born, we have known that God has a special plan for her life.  She is our "Amazing Grace."

Clark is my "all-boy" ten year old.  He loves camouflage, Legos, and his army men.  He loves to build and design things and has a lively imagination.  Clark plays the drums and has been taking lessons since the fall of 2016.  He has also earned a red belt in karate.  Clark has never met a stranger and makes friends and conversation wherever he goes.  He is my defender, strong-hearted yet compassionate, energetic, and loving.  I pray that he will continue to grow into a mighty man of God.

Faith, Family, and Fun
